Before we proceed with the cleaning, you need to have the following things within your convenience. Cleaning your marble floors conveniently will make not only make it glisten even more but also saves you a great deal of time.
Things You’ll Need :
- Warm water
- Bucket
- Mop
- Ammonia (only if necessary)
- Neutral pH cleaners
- Soft cloths
- Marble cleaner and/or polish
Step 1 – Fill Bucket With Warm Water
Fill your bucket with warm water. Since water is a natural solvent, when it is warm it can loosen grimes on the floor.
Step 2 – Mop The Floor
Wet your mop and wipe it on the floor. You can create small figure 8 circles when doing it.
Step 3 Use Ammonia or Neutral ph Cleaner
If the floor has persistent dirt and grime you may want to mop it twice and add ammonia or a neutral floor cleaner to the water.
Step 4 – Rinse The Floor
Rinse the floor with warm water and remove the excess solution.
Step 5 – Dry And Polish The Floor
To dry your floor, wipe the floor with the use of a clean cloth to avoid water spots. You can wrap the cloth around your mop and soak up the excess water. Then use a marble cleaner and polish your floor to restore its true grandeur.
