It's a quick and easy gift idea that any Mom out there will appreciate.

Mommy Survival Kit | Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Mothers do tons of things in a day. I should know, I am one. From the time we wake up until we go to sleep, the tasks and chores just don't seem to end. That's why for Mother's Day, I wanted to share a survival kit that every mom would appreciate. It's a great gift idea for your mom friends and any child can make one to show their care and love for their mom.

You can customize for any kind of mom. A new mom who just gave birth, a mom who has toddlers, pretty much you can tailor fit this for any mom you know. This DIY project is a great pick me up. It has a little bit of everything that any mom needs to survive another day.

Supplies you'll need for the Mommy's survival kit:

  • mason jar
  • construction paper or decorative paper
  • ribbon
  • scissors
  • cotton balls
  • Sharpie
  • tape

Mommy Survival Kit Essentials:

  • nail polish
  • mascara
  • lip gloss
  • mint or tictac
  • headband
  • chocolate
  • aspirin
  • and anything else you can think of that your Mom needs!

Step 1

Open your mason jar. You can use any size that you want for this easy craft project. If you would want to put a lot of things in, then I'd recommend getting a big mason jar.

Step 2

Fill the bottom of your mason jar with a few cotton balls. This will ensure that the contents will be snug.

Step 3

Grab all the things you want to put in the Mommy survival kit and carefully fit them in the jar.

Step 4

Put the lid of the mason jar back.

Step 5

Grab your decorative or construction paper and scissors, it's time to make the label. You can trace and cut out any shape that you prefer and just try to be creative with the label you'd be writing. Once you're done writing your label, take some tape and tape it in the front of your mason jar.

Step 6

Start decorating your mason jar. You can add some stickers on the lid then tie a ribbon on the neck of the jar. Have fun making it more special for your mom!

Wasn't that super easy? You can even make this gift idea in just five minutes. This will be a great giveaway to your mom friends you feel are getting stressed out with their day-to-day life. Don't even limit yourself with just one jar. You can make seven for everyday of the week. The possibilities are just endless!

What are you going to put on your Mommy survival kit? I'd love to know!
