But first, here are the things you need that'll make your car seats look fresh and clean again :
- 2 tablespoons dish soap
- 2 tablespoons washing soda
- 2 cups hot water
- Mixing bowl
- Cleaning brush
- Clean towel
- Linen spray (optional)
Step 1 – Vacuum the seat
First of all, give your car a nice and quick vacuum. Let the vacuum suck that dirt away. Or you can also wipe it with the use of a dry cleaning brush. Give it a quick rub.
Step 2 – Prepare the cleaning solution
Now it's time to mix the cleaning solution. Dish soap is excellent in removing stains and also invigorates your seat's fabric. While the washing soda acts a cleaning booster to give your car seat fresher and cleaner look. Add 2 cups of hot water and cleaning solution is ready.
Step 3 – Start brushing
Dip the cleaning brush into the mixture. And with light sweeping or circular motion, work the car seats one by one. But you don't need to soak the car seat. All you need is to dampen the fabric slightly.
