DIY Mermaid Cosmetics Bag
createcraftlove once again gets our creative juices flowing with this cool mermaid bag tutorial.We absolutely love how this one turned out and today we'll take on the challenge with you of trying to create our very own DIY bag just. As usual we will share the first few steps to get your up and running them you can check out Jill's tutorial to complete your project.
Materials needed
Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore Air
Canvas makeup bag
Cricut Iron On Lite in aqua and metallic purple
Cricut Foil Iron On in pewter
Cricut EasyPress
Ribbon
Holographic jewels
Hot glue gun
For the design Jill used design bundles from freshcutsvgfiles, They have a variety to choose from. Clearly she opted for the mermaid bundle. You can use Design space to tweak, fix or resize any of the chosen designs.
Then,add your image and iron on the canvas bag then set your EasyPress to the Iron on the lite settings. Pre-heat the surface area of bag before adding the vinyl. Afterwards you can peel off the clear liner. Cut off about a foot of coordinating ribbon and tie to the zip pull on the bag.
