Make Your Own Tie Dye Sneaker
Thanks to thecraftpatchblog you can turn your plain old sneakers into a colorful and stylish creation. The best news is that its super easy to create, all you need are some sharpies and of course your sneaker of choice, a light color such as grey or white is the most ideal.
You'll need:
- Plain White Canvas Sneakers
- Sharpie Markers
- Medicine Dropper
- 91% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol
Instructions
Step 1
Before you get started remove the shoe laces, those will remain in their original color and you don't want to get ink on them.
Step 2
Once you've removed the laces use the Sharpies to draw a design of your choice all over the canvas part of your sneakers.
Step 3
Then, fill the medicine dropper with rubbing alcohol and drip it onto the design.
Step 4
This will make the colors spread and run together giving you the tie dye effect! Easy right?
