How to Make a Tie Blanket Step-By-Step Instructions
Step 1: Set Your Fleece Fabrics
First, prepare your materials and your working area. Set your fleece fabric on your working table or area.
I would suggest you work on the floor to give you ample room for your DIY blanket. Next, lay the fabric on top of each other aligning all sides.
Step 2: Measure, Mark, and Cut
Measure 1.5 inches along the edge, then measure another four inches down and mark. Start on one side of the aligned fabrics going all the way around.
Now, cut down the 4-inch squares at every corner every 1.5 inches. You will be left with a sort of fringes on all sides of the fabric.
Step 3: Tie Knots
We now come to the last and most fun part of the project and that is to tie blanket corners. Simply tie one fringe of the fabric to the other on the opposite fabric.
Continue tying the pairs of fringes until you’ve completely tied all pairs. It looks so simple to make, but if you’re too relaxed you might miss out a pair.
