I've always loved how feathers look like. It reminds me of being free. Like you can just float and go wherever the wind takes you. But enough of that! Since we're talking about feathers, I'm going to show you an easy tutorial on how to make painted feathers. It's something you can make in minutes and you can also use it in a lot of craft projects. Whether it be a room decor or a cool hanging wall art, these DIY feathers won't disappoint!
What you'll need for your painted feather:
- acrylic paint
- paint brush
- feathers
Step 1
Pick your colors and put a small amount of each in a nice clean surface.
Step 2
Dip your brush in the first color that you want and start painting. Continue painting with the color combination that you like. Be creative!
Step 3
Let the paint dry and prepare your black and white paint to add some design.
Step 4
Start designing your feather. Add some line or whatever decoration you can think of to make it look more beautiful.
Let it dry, and you're done!
