Moss Graffiti

Supplies:

  • Moss
  • Buttermilk
  • Baby diaper or water gel
  • Blender
  • Measuring cups
  • Paint brushes
  • Water
  • Measuring spoon

Now let's find out how to make the moss paint!

Step 1

Get ready and prepare all the materials you'll need.

Step 2

You can use 2 cups of buttermilk or 2 cups of PLAIN yogurt for this cool DIY project.

Step 3

Break the moss into manageable pieces and then place them in the blender.

Step 4

Blend until it is completely smooth. You'll want it to have a paint-like texture. Here's a TIP: If the consistency is where you feel that it will drip, just add corn syrup until the consistency you want is reached.

Remember to whizz around but don't liquefy – the moss cells must stay intact.

Let the painting begin!

Step 5

Choose the right spot or area for moss-painting and street art. Be careful! Vandalism is a crime.

Step 6

You can add more moss paint on top of your painted ones to ensure thick growth of the moss. You may want to check your moss paint regularly. Depending on your climate, sometime it takes a while before your moss grow.

With few patience, you now have your very own moss graffiti masterpiece! Welcome to the beautiful world of green graffiti!

TIP: Too much sun can dry it out.
