Oh I so needed this today!!! I am a pretty decent cook so decided to try a new casserole dish I saw on Pinterest for my husband and daughter and her new boyfriend. It was AWFUL!!! My daughter couldn’t eat it and her poor boyfriend forced a piece down to be polite and my wonderful hubby choked down three pieces and thanked me for trying something new. These fails are HILARIOUS!! Lesson learned…stick to what I know and do well when we have company for supper. Thanks for the laugh!

I pinned 2 posts with instructions for DIY candlesticks. I stopped by Hobby Lobby to get some materials. Saw 2 distressed white, ceramic candlesticks for 40% off. Took about 30 seconds to decide buying was easier than making. After seeing these Fails, I no longer feel guilty about buying them instead of trying to create them myself.

  10. Avatar says

Hahahaha this was awsome! I have a few I could share with you to add to this collection. Definitly the string balloon thing. Also the cookie cups you bake on the bottom side of a muffin pan. Epic fail….that is not real life, hahaha.
Thanks for sharing!! Cheryl Joris West on Pinterest ♥

Oh this was fabulous! I had such a good laugh tonight looking at these. I should add my Science Experiment cake to this list, that was a terrible, hilarious fail! At least we can look back on the times we’ve ‘nailed’ things and have a good laugh about it 🙂

Still laughing. My adult kids love cornbread. I saw a pin for cornbread that incorporated 1 can of cream of corn, 1 can of drained kernel corn, & a package of Jiffy corn bead mix, among egg, milk etc. I cook most things from scratch, modifying recipes as I go, and I’m an extremely good cook. I saw this recipe, read it a few times, thinking “there’s way to much liquid” but went ahead and followed the recipe. Tried a toothpick at end of cooking time, left it in longer. Finally when it was as brown as it could be short of burned, I took it out. Let it cool in pan. At dinner, I peeled it out of silicone pan and the guts ran out on the plate, like a corn lava cake.

  13. AvatarJackie says

Oh my heck that was great! I laughed harder and harder as I scrolled down the page.. Crayons now that was hilarious! I wish I could have added my army tank cake I tried making off a Pinterest pic..! Haha I think people are it just because they felt so bad for me …
