Sunglasses are always on trend, plus the summer is fast approaching and with it comes the need for sunglasses and cute sandals. While i’m sure you can get these at the store you can also get super creative and add your own special touches. DIY sunglasses and sandals below!
Trendy DIY Sunglasses and Sandals
Today we’ll show you how to add some embellishments to your glasses so you can stand out in the crowd! Plus learn how to spruce up those old sandals with this easy tutorial.
Embellished sunglasses
Materials:
- Glue gun
- Embellishment
- Sunglasses
- Glue
You can buy the little embellishments on Amazon or eBay. There are tons of cute embellishments to choose from, just make sure you get something that works with the color and style of the sunglasses you will be using. Make sure you get enough to go around the perimeter of the glasses frame, plus you need to account for spoils as well. I would recommend about 2 dozen just to be on the safe side.
Take your little flower ( or whatever item you’ve chosen) and add a small amount of glue to the back then paste on rim of glasses. Repeat the process until entire rim is covered then leave to dry. It’s as easy as that!
